COMMUNITY-WIDE SUPPORT

Sailability Nelson is grateful for the support from Nelson Yacht Club, New Zealand's oldest yacht club, established in 1857. We are blessed to have such a perfect venue and location to deliver this service and to have the club’s ongoing support.

Nelson College’s and Nelson College for Girls’ sailing students also volunteer their time on Sunday mornings to take our sailors out sailing. We are grateful for the service these students provide. It is the likes of this inclusion that makes Sailability Nelson such a rich community-wide win/win relationship.  

Everybody involved is focused on making things special for those disadvantaged. It is powerful and a warning to everyone, involvement is addictive! If the old adage is correct - that we get more out than what we put in, involvement is highly rewarding.  

But all this could not be possible without the forward thinking, community minded generosity of the following companies. We are extremely grateful and ask that wherever and whenever possible, please support these companies.

Special acknowledgement should be made for the sizable funding support levels from the Port Nelson, Nelson Pine Industries, Matthews Eyecare and Rata Foundation.

The Legal House, NBS, Nelson Honey, Link Business Brokers, have all committed to a three year strength in numbers sponsorship platform, which provides cash flows over three years. Sailability Nelson is hugely grateful for this valuable support.

And then we have Hothouse Creative and Glasgow Harley providing professional services. This collective talent provides Sailability Nelson with a virtual agency team structure.
